The Ultimate Truth

The Single Voice of the Hymn

Before the dawn of creation, there was a profound Nothingness, yet not truly nothing: neither existence nor non-existence could be named, and the sky, the air, and the deep waters were all absent, leaving only an unplumbed, formless gulf. There was no boundary of death or immortality, no distinction between night and day, yet That One breathed, self-sustained by its inherent power, a singular, hidden Essence, shrouded in a primordial dark, vast as an ocean and concealed by the very emptiness it contained; only by the immense fervor of its own inner heat (Tapas) did this potentiality arise. Then, the first seed of Desire stirred within the Mind, establishing the vital link that connects the Unmanifest with the Manifest; though the full extent of this creative force—whether its root lay above or below—remains a mystery, the ultimate truth is that no one truly knows its origin, for even the gods arose after the cosmos was set into motion; thus, the great Overseer in the highest heaven, who governs this vast creation, PARAMATMA alone might know, or perhaps, contemplating the absolute beginning, even PARAMATMA remains uncertain.
